Me, at a glance…
I’m just your average guy (he/him) that excites over sonic landscapes and colossal sound.
Over the past 14 years, my thirst for the audio realm drove me across Canada and the western United States performing and learning from my peers as I scoured for more. In 2019, I paused my career as a live performer and chose to introspect only to discover an uncharted version of myself that simply hungered for a greater breadth of skill.
The subsequent years pulled me through discovery into new collaborations coupled with the fear of new spaces and the sonorous new worlds to come.
Nowadays, I’m on the hunt for my next scoring endeavour, musical project to work with, or podcast to edit and mix!

Musical Performances
In 14+ years of sound exploration, I’ve performed at 150 + events from Vancouver to Montreal, to LA and back. Working music festivals and intimate acoustic sets with electricity.
My background
My musical journey began at the drum set, age 16. Simply put: I played the video game “Rock Band” and latched on completely. That hook pulled me through drum lessons and every high school music class that I could participate in. Weeks after my lessons began, I joined my first band “Public Access”, forming an infinite bond with sound. Four months later, we recorded an EP at “Fiasco Bros Recording Studio” and thrashed our way through adolescence thinking we were equipped for the journey ahead.
When my high school band days were done, I took up the mantle in several groups: A folk rock band, a moody electronic trio, my solo acoustic work, a country quintet and eventually crossed paths with an especially serious endeavour, “Douse”.
In my “Douse” years, I had the privilege of performing alongside the classically trained to the picked-this-synth-up-of-my-friend-for-20-bucks. I thrived off the discovery of the unexplored; I thrived off of becoming electric on stage and sharing the power of an evocative performance with others.
Whisked off, in 2015, Dream Cymbals decided to sponsor me; a brand that my drum idols swore by. The music I was making started spinning on CBC Radio 3 (RIP) and college stations across Canada. New outlets were taking notice and I could read my name next to my favourite artists. My performances were described as “a battery of rhythm” (GoldFlakePaint) and I was grateful to be welcomed.
In 2019, I pressed pause on my musical career. My personal life took focus and I introspected on the person I was and the one I wanted to be. Travelling a more recreational route, I explored low-fidelity, intimate soundscapes, I collaborated with new friends and tried to recontextualize my process.
In January 2023, I partnered with the Falling For Stories Podcast to create its First Season. This was my first release in years, leading a dramatic departure from my past. I could envision a new future in production, helping other creators tell their stories. A fresh world of sound.
