Last summer an old friend of mine reached out to me because he wanted to make a video game and he needed a composer. Little did I know that journey would come with countless twists and turns.
I joined the project in it’s early stages: an simple game engine had been built, there was a semblance of a plot and some of the characters and there were a handful of contributors on board. I began composing music for the project before much of anything was established, fleshing out characters, levels and bosses mostly through my own interest and directions for the story. Before long, I had written over thirty tracks for the game and the game itself had made very little headway. Over time, we all found that the group was lacking leadership and motivation, so I offered my managerial background and the group was happy to have someone to guide the project. The game is very much in production to this day, but with all the music that I built, I wanted to finally share some with you. Below, I’ve attached a link to a small compilation of tracks I’ve worked on thus far. I hope you enjoy this fantastical soundtrack on this summery day, almost a year since I joined the project.
